Rose Congou Tea
Scented teas have been produced according to ancestral recipes for a very long time. Before the advent of essential oils, one of the easiest scents to duplicate was ‘Rose’. The plantations would cut the rose blossoms from bushes bordering the tea fields and sprinkle them into the tea. The result was a delicate but finely-flavored tea. Today essential oils are used to speed up the scenting process and fresh rose petals are added to the tea for visual effect. Our Rose Congou tea is beautiful to behold and has the ethereal flavor of roses.
